Overview
One of our companies is in search for a Quality Testing Technician, who can uphold the safety and quality policies our company has created and oversee the product development process to ensure that all products meet quality standards.
Duties
- Pressure test weldments
- Die-penetrant test weldments
- Evaluate testing processes for better efficiency and ergonomics.
- Test in-process samples using physical and instrumental methods (per ASTM procedures).
- Appropriate use of measuring devices to include but not limited to Calipers, Micrometers, Depth Gage, Height Gage, Tape Measure, Paint Thickness Tester, Rockwell Hardness Tester, Gage Blocks, pH meters, thermometers and Weld Fillet Gages.
- Able to maintain detailed and accurate records, completing all required documentation of testing results.
- Must be able to distinguish colors.
- Perform product specification reviews on new and existing product.
- Report to the Engineering and Quality Manager
Required Knowledge/Skills
- Background in Manufacturing and Quality is strongly desired
- Experience in and understanding of ISO 9001:2015, ASTM and IEEE Standards desired but not required
- Basic mechanical aptitude (using wrench, screw driver, etc.)
Pay: Up to $15.00 per hour

- PH meter : 1-3 years (Required)
- Thermometers: 3 years (Required)
- Weld Fillet Gages: 3 years (Required)
- Die-penetrant : 3 years (Required)
- Tape measure experience: 3 years (Required)
Shift availability:
- Day Shift-6:00 am-4:00 pm
