Job Full Description
Medical facility in Flowood is seeking an experienced Medical Biller! Position is full time, temp-to-perm. Hours are Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm, and Friday 8am-3pm. Dress code is scrubs or business casual.
The company needs candidates that have Medical Billing experience and already knows the appeal process, as the position is very fast paced and the training information will need to be picked up quickly.
Responsibilities Include:
- Accounts Receivables
- A/R follow up to BCBS, Medicare, Medicaid, Posting
- Submitting insurance claims for all payers, government, commercial and workers compensation
- Handling appeals and electronic rejections
- Collections
- Software and websites used: Greenway Intergy, Abbadox (IDS), Ebridge, Adobe PDF, MS Word & Excel
REQUIRED: At least two years' Medical Billing experience
