Position Overview:
As a Pipe Fitter, you’ll be responsible for laying out, assembling, installing, and maintaining pipe systems according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications. You’ll work with various materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, and PVC for systems carrying water, steam, air, gas, chemicals, and more.
Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and schematics to determine pipe layout and installation methods

Cut, thread, groove, and weld pipe accurately using hand and power tools

Fit and install pipe systems, supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment

Test piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges and hydrostatic testing
-
Ensure that work meets code requirements and quality standards

Maintain safe work practices and keep a clean, organized work area

Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to meet deadlines and production goals
-
Troubleshoot issues and make adjustments or repairs as needed
Requirements:
-
3+ years of experience as a Pipe Fitter in industrial or commercial settings
-
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and piping schematics
-
Skilled in cutting, fitting, threading, and welding pipes of various materials
-
Familiarity with plumbing and mechanical codes
-
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments (standing, climbing, confined spaces)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
-
OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus
-
Welding certifications are a bonus but not required for all roles
