🎨 Industrial Painter – Skilled Finisher for Heavy-Duty Projects
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Industrial Painter to join our team. This is a hands-on role that requires experience applying coatings to a variety of metal surfaces and large-scale industrial equipment. The ideal candidate takes pride in a clean, precise finish and understands the importance of surface prep, coating specs, and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, masking, and/or blasting as needed

Apply primers, sealers, and topcoats using spray guns, rollers, and brushes

Follow paint specifications, color codes, thickness requirements, and cure times
-
Inspect surfaces and finished work to ensure high-quality standards and coating integrity
-
Mix and match paints and coatings according to manufacturer instructions
-
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials
-
Perform regular equipment maintenance and report any malfunctions or safety concerns
-
Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines for working with chemicals, paints, and PPE
Requirements:
-
2+ years of experience as an industrial painter or finisher in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

Proficient with HVLP spray guns, airless sprayers, and related painting tools

Knowledge of paint types, surface prep techniques, and curing processes

Ability to read job specifications, blueprints, or work orders

Comfortable working in industrial environments, including confined spaces or elevated platforms

Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Forklift experience or certification is a plus
