Position Overview
We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals for General Labor positions in production and assembly. These roles support our valued clients’ manufacturing and assembly operations by performing essential hands-on tasks. Candidates must have dependable, independent transportation and be capable of meeting the physical and skill requirements of the job.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving materials weighing up to 50 lbs regularly throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Assemble products or components on a production line or at a workstation, following detailed instructions, blueprints, or schematics as required.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet client standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Read and interpret work orders, production schedules, and measurement tools such as tape measures.
- Use basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying materials or products.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Reliable, independent transportation to and from work sites in St. Louis County, Arnold, MO, and Jefferson County, MO.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly for 8-hour shifts.
- Basic math skills and reading comprehension.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure and follow written or verbal instructions.
- Willingness to submit a resume and participate in an interview process if requested.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Previous experience in production, assembly, or general labor is a plus but not required.
- Closed toe shoes are required; steel toed boots are preferred, and some clients require steel toed boots.
- Must be comfortable wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hair and beard nets, safety glasses, and ear protection.
- Must be comfortable working in buildings that may not be temperature controlled.
Work Environment
- Fast-paced production or assembly line setting.
- May involve standing, bending, and repetitive motion for most of the shift.
- Exposure to varying temperatures and warehouse or factory noise levels.
- Use of required PPE including hair and beard nets, safety glasses, and ear protection as needed.
