Die Cut/Molder Position – Our Valued Client (Maplewood, MO)
Position Summary
The Die Cut/Molder will operate and maintain die cutting and mold-making equipment to support the production of a variety of custom-printed items. This role requires technical skill, attention to detail, and consistent performance to ensure products meet the company’s quality and productivity standards.
Responsibilities
· Set up, operate, and maintain die cutting and molding equipment according to daily production requirements.
· Troubleshoot and repair die cutting or molding machines as needed.
· Read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings for the production of custom-printed items.
· Inspect items during and after production to verify that they meet established specifications and quality standards.
· Mix, form, and finish materials used in molding processes when required.
· Accurately record and report production data either manually or using computer software.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area on a routine basis.
· Follow all safety policies and appropriate lockout/tagout procedures for machinery.
· Work closely with other production team members to achieve shared goals.
Requirements
· High school diploma or GED.
· 1-2 years of experience with die cutting, molding, or similar manufacturing processes preferred.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive manual tasks.
· Solid troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Basic computer literacy for production tracking and reporting.
· Prior experience in packaging or print manufacturing environments a plus.
Desired Skills
· Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints or schematics.
· Familiarity with quality inspection and measurement tools.
· Experience with equipment setup, operation, and routine maintenance.
· Willingness and ability to learn new manufacturing processes and participate in cross-training.
