Set up, operate, and troubleshoot all CNC mills and lathes with minimal supervision or training needed.

Diagnose and repair technical issues on CNC equipment, addressing mechanical, electrical, and software-related problems.

Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs using both G-code and Mazatrol for new and existing projects.

Maintain a library of program files, ensuring accurate documentation and revision control.

Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering to refine machining processes and improve efficiency.

Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.

Machine prototype parts and support new product development projects as directed.

Perform precise measurements using micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools.

Ensure all machines are operated and maintained in a safe and efficient manner.

Train and mentor less experienced operators or machinists as required.

Extensive hands-on experience setting up and programming CNC mills and lathes.

Complete working knowledge of G-code and Mazatrol programming for both set-up and troubleshooting.

Ability to quickly identify, diagnose, and repair mechanical and control systems on CNC equipment.

Proven track record of working independently and producing high-quality results with minimal supervision.

Familiarity with manufacturing best practices, machining of prototypes, and support of engineering projects.

Strong understanding of engineering drawings, CAD/CAM files, and quality standards.

High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications or advanced machining coursework preferred.

Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderately heavy items throughout the shift as required for equipment maintenance and set-up.
