Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair die casting presses with focus on hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings to complete wiring and troubleshooting tasks.

Perform repairs on gas-fired burners for aluminum and zinc furnaces, similar to boiler systems.

Maintain and repair hydraulic pumps, valves, and cylinders in-house.

Work in varying temperature conditions, frequently standing throughout shifts.

Handle boxes and equipment up to 100 lbs safely.

Maintain a full set of hand and power tools necessary for daily tasks.

Grow technical skills through opportunities to learn PLC programming, robotics, servo systems, and other advanced maintenance technologies.

Strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, ideally in die casting or comparable manufacturing environments.

Experience with hydraulic systems, pneumatic components, and electrical troubleshooting.

Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Familiarity or willingness to train on Allen Bradley PLCs, Fanuc robotics, servo drives, VFDs, and transducers.

Capable of working in physically demanding environments with exposure to extreme temperature variations.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Must have a complete set of tools.

Ability to remain standing for entire shifts.

Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs as required.
