Warehouse Associate

Location: Multiple client facilities (local distribution, manufacturing, and logistics sites) in South County/Arnold
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire | Direct Hire
Pay Range: $17 – $24 per hour (DOE)

Higher pay available for candidates with equipment certifications, system experience, or lead responsibilities.

 

 

Position Overview

We are seeking competent, dependable Warehouse Associates to support daily distribution and production operations across a range of client facilities. This role requires hands-on experience in warehouse environments, strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet productivity and safety standards in fast-paced settings.

 

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

  • Pick, pack, stage, and ship orders accurately using pick lists, RF scanners, or WMS systems

  • Receive incoming shipments; verify quantities, inspect for damage, and document discrepancies

  • Load and unload trailers, containers, and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently

  • Stage materials for outbound routes, production lines, or internal transfers

Inventory Control & Accuracy

  • Perform cycle counts and inventory adjustments as assigned

  • Label, scan, and track materials to maintain accurate inventory records

  • Follow FIFO, lot control, and quality standards where applicable

  • Maintain clean, organized storage locations and clear aisles

Equipment & Tool Operation

  • Operate material handling equipment as certified and assigned, including:

    • Forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker)

    • Pallet jacks (manual & electric)

    • Conveyors and dock equipment

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow OSHA guidelines and site-specific safety protocols

  • Properly use PPE and adhere to safe lifting and material handling practices

  • Report safety hazards, damaged product, or operational issues promptly

 

 

Required Hard Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience

  • Experience with RF scanners, WMS, or inventory tracking systems

  • Proven ability to meet productivity and accuracy standards

  • Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods

  • Basic math, reading, and documentation skills

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
