Job Title: Metal Forming Machine Operator – Bumper Fabrication
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to operate machinery that forms flat metal sheets into bumpers. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical mindset, the ability to read blueprints, and basic measurement skills.
Required Skills:

Basic math proficiency

Ability to use a tape measure and calipers

Convert measurements between metric and standard units

Basic understanding of blueprint reading
Key Responsibilities:

Measure, inspect, and test finished units to identify defects and ensure they meet specifications using precision instruments

Set up, adjust, and operate specialized machine tools used in metal forming
-
Secure materials, cutting tools, and attachments in the machine for proper operation

Monitor machine operations to ensure optimal feed and speed during the process

Review blueprints, samples, and technical drawings to determine fabrication methods and sequences

Mark and lay out cuts on metal stock

Monitor equipment during use to identify and correct malfunctions

Perform regular cleaning, lubrication, and maintenance of machines and tools

Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed

Input or edit machine commands for proper control and precision during operation
