⚙️ Metal Forming Machine Operator – Bumper Fabrication
📍 St. Joseph, MO | Full-Time | Weekly Pay
A leading bumper fabrication facility is seeking a Metal Forming Machine Operator to join their team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a mechanical mindset, precision measurement skills, and the ability to read blueprints. If you enjoy working with machines and take pride in accuracy, this is the job for you!
🔧 What You’ll Do

Set up, adjust, and operate specialized metal forming equipment

Review blueprints, samples, and technical drawings to determine production methods

Measure, inspect, and test finished parts with calipers, gauges, and precision tools

Secure and adjust materials, tools, and attachments for proper operation

Monitor machine feed, speed, and performance, making adjustments as needed

Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions promptly
-
Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and maintenance of machines
-
Disassemble and reassemble components when necessary

Input or adjust machine commands for accuracy and quality

Strong math skills (including metric-to-standard conversions)

Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16"

Basic blueprint reading skills

Experience using calipers, gauges, or other precision tools
