📍 Location: Saint Joseph, MO
We’re looking for an accomplished Quality & Safety Manager to lead critical quality assurance and workplace safety initiatives at our manufacturing facility. What You’ll Be Leading
As the Quality & Safety Manager, you will:

Set the Standard: Develop and enforce quality and safety protocols that meet—and exceed—regulatory and customer requirements.

Own Compliance & Audits: Lead audits, inspections, and compliance reviews (OSHA, ISO 14001, food safety standards).

Drive Continuous Improvement: Use data and root cause analysis to guide process improvements in quality assurance and workplace safety.

Lead Investigations: Respond to quality and safety incidents with thorough investigations and actionable corrective plans.

Coach & Develop: Train and mentor employees at all levels, promoting a proactive and educated workforce.

Collaborate Across Teams: Work cross-functionally with production, operations, and leadership to align safety and quality with business goals.
What You Bring to the Table
-
Experience: 3+ years in a quality/safety leadership role in a manufacturing environment. Plastics or food safety experience is a strong advantage.

Regulatory Knowledge: OSHA compliance, ISO 14001, food safety protocols, and environmental health & safety best practices.

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, influence, and elevate teams while managing multiple priorities with precision.

Technical Proficiency: Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); able to produce reports, documentation, and communicate findings clearly.

Training Background: Skilled in leading training sessions, safety briefings, and presenting to leadership and staff.
Working Conditions & Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Willingness to work in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

Proper use of PPE including safety shoes, eye protection, hearing protection, and gloves.
