Position Summary

As an IT Support Specialist, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing on-site and remote support, and offering recommendations to improve performance and security. This role requires a strong foundation in hardware, software, and networking, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues across desktops, laptops, printers, and multifunctional devices

• Cybersecurity: Remove viruses, malware, and other threats, and ensure systems are secure and running efficiently

• System Setup: Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, and other technology equipment

• Email and OS Support: Assist with email configuration, troubleshooting, and operating system support

• Network Support: Diagnose and resolve router and Wi-Fi issues, and optimize network performance

• Security System Support: Install and troubleshoot video surveillance systems

• Tech Recommendations: Provide guidance on hardware and software upgrades tailored to customer needs

• Documentation: Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with both customers and internal teams

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and Windows operating systems

• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including routers and wireless networks

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT support role or similar technical position

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• Valid driver’s license required for occasional on-site support
