The Estimator plays a critical role in bridging customer needs with production capabilities. This position requires strong blueprint-reading skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to accurately calculate costs for custom fabrication projects. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for custom fabrication projects

• Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications

• Calculate labor, materials, and production time

• Collaborate with engineers, sales, and production teams

• Communicate with customers to define project scope and expectations

• Develop and deliver clear, professional quotes and proposals

Qualifications

• 2+ years of estimating experience (metal fabrication or job shop preferred)

• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes (machining, welding, cutting, etc.)

• Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints

• ERP/manufacturing software experience a plus

• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills

• Detail-focused with the ability to work efficiently and accurately
