🔍 Position Overview

In this key role, you’ll work closely with clients, engineers, and production teams to develop accurate, competitive bids and detailed cost estimates. You'll play a critical part in aligning project goals with customer needs and company capabilities—making you an essential contributor to the company’s continued success.

🛠️ Primary Responsibilities

• Estimate Development: Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, and lead times, for custom metal fabrication projects

• Proposal Generation: Collaborate with the sales team to develop persuasive proposals that align with project requirements and customer goals

• Client Interaction: Engage directly with customers to clarify technical specs, timelines, and cost-related concerns

• Blueprint Interpretation: Accurately read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications

• Internal Collaboration: Work closely with production and procurement to validate feasibility and cost efficiency of proposed solutions

✅ Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years of experience in estimating, preferably within a job shop or custom fabrication environment

• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints

• Strong understanding of steel and metal fabrication processes

• Familiarity with manufacturing software or ERP systems is a plus

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet tight deadlines with precision

• Background in machining or fabrication processes is highly desirable
