About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a background in metal fabrication or job shop estimating. This is a key position that connects client needs with production capabilities. Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate cost estimates for custom metal fabrication projects

• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications

• Analyze labor, materials, and production time

• Work closely with engineers, sales, and production staff

• Communicate with customers to clarify scope and expectations

• Create and present professional proposals and quotes

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of estimating experience, preferably in a metal fabrication or job shop environment

• Solid understanding of fabrication processes (e.g., machining, welding, cutting)

• Proficient in reading blueprints and job specifications

• Experience with ERP or manufacturing software preferred

• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
