What You’ll Do

Lead and oversee daily production operations in a fabrication and machine shop environment

Manage shop floor personnel including machinists, welders, and fabricators

Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer deadlines

Monitor workflow, equipment utilization, and labor efficiency

Ensure quality standards are consistently met

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste

Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, and sales teams
-
Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure a safe working environment

Track KPIs, production metrics, and cost controls

Train, coach, and develop shop employees
What We’re Looking For
-
5+ years of leadership experience in a machine shop or fabrication setting
-
Strong understanding of machining processes, welding, metal fabrication, and production workflow
-
Proven ability to manage teams and drive performance
-
Experience with production scheduling and capacity planning
-
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and process improvement strategies preferred
-
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Comfortable working both on the floor and in an office setting
