Looking for a fast-paced office role where no two days are the same? Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Scale Operator for a local scrap yard. If you're organized, customer-focused, and comfortable multitasking, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
- Operate truck scales and accurately process inbound and outbound loads
- Coordinate dispatch and logistics
- Perform data entry and administrative tasks
- Provide excellent customer service to drivers and customers
- Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office
- Follow all safety policies and procedures while working around truck traffic and industrial equipment
What We're Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of customer service experience
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent data entry, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
