Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a CDL A or CDL B Driver for a local fabrication company.
If you’re an experienced commercial driver looking for a local route with no long-haul travel, this could be a great fit. This position will primarily involve hauling scrap material around St. Joseph and making runs between St. Joseph and Kansas City.
?? What You’ll Do
- Haul scrap metal and materials to local destinations
- Make regular runs between St. Joseph and Kansas City
- Safely operate company trucks and equipment
- Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Secure loads and follow all DOT and company safety procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery and transportation documentation
- Communicate with the shop and yard regarding pickups and deliveries
- Assist with other transportation-related duties as needed
? What We’re Looking For
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B
- Safe and responsible driving record
- Previous commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to safely haul scrap and heavy materials
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe load practices
- Dependable attendance and strong communication skills
- Comfortable driving in both city and highway traffic
- Must be able to work independently and stay on schedule
