Job Full Description
Outstanding full-time opportunity for hardworking individuals who take pride in their work. Ensuring strict adherence to all relevant federal and local guidelines for safety and productivity, including, OSHA, ADA and other required regulations.
The Maintenance Technicians key responsibilities will include:
Complete periodic maintenance of equipment and machinery by following the manufacturer’s recommended upkeep schedule throughout its life
• Troubleshoot common issues with equipment and assist operators with getting back to a productive mode
• Install mechanical equipment according to the manufacturer’s recommendations in a timely manner for an optimal production timeline that avoids lengthy periods without loss of business
• Repair machines in order to limit machinery downtime during production schedule
• Evaluate workspace safety on the production floor to ensure all staff is following guidelines with equipment
• Complete a variety of tasks related to maintenance of machinery, including plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning, structural concerns and more depending on the scope of the project
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while completing tasks related to maintenance, repair or installation
• Perform peer-to-peer inspections on work performed by other maintenance technicians
• Investigate and recommend outside contractors on larger maintenance related projects
• Advise Purchasing Manager during new equipment purchases
• Enforce compliance with safety guidelines and company standards
• Shall comply with the Quality and Environmental Management Systems and associated standards
Must have a minimum of 3 years experience working in equipment maintenance and a strong knowledge of skilled trades, such as electrical, CNC equipment, carpentry or welding.
Shift: Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay is $18-$19/hr, DOE
