Job Full Description
The Senior Accountant position is accountable for tax, audit or accounting functions of various size and complexity of engagements; with increased client contact, more complex technical challenges, and supervisory responsibilities for the work of lower-level professional staff. This role involves overseeing complex accounting tasks, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting. Candidates must have an active CPA license or be CPA eligible with plans to take the exam.
- Minimum of 3 years public accounting or with a larger corporation
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Well organized with good time management and multi-tasking skills
- Works well in a team environment and ability to maintain positive relationships with work teams and customers/clients
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Preferred experience using Microsoft Office applications, QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, UltraTax and Advance Flow
