Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Plasma Cutter Operator to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining plasma cutting equipment to produce high-quality metal components according to specifications, drawings, and safety standards. Needs to be able to operate a forklift and overhead crane.
MUST BE ABLE TO READ A TAPE MEASURE IN 1/16. PLASMA CUTTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!!
Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC and/or manual plasma cutting machines

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders

Load, position, and secure metal materials for cutting

Monitor machine operation to ensure accuracy and quality

Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and defects

Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment

Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards

Work collaboratively with welders, fabricators, and supervisors to meet production deadlines

$18.00/hr
M-F 8:00 am-5:00 pm
