A growing manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. We are looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of incoming customer calls
- Process and print customer orders
- Organize back orders and maintain accurate records
- File paperwork and mail invoices
- Work closely with the Production Scheduler to provide customers with updated shipping information and delivery dates
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and order issues with professionalism and urgency
- Provide appropriate solutions and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction
- Generate leads through outbound calls to new and existing customers
- Update and maintain customer information within ERP and CRM systems
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments
- Meet customer service standards and team performance goals
- Perform general administrative and customer support duties
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of direct customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting preferred
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet creation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Comfortable making outbound sales and customer follow-up calls
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
