We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Foam Fill Processing Technician / General Laborer to join our team. This position involves foam-filling industrial tires, performing tire service and repair, operating specialized equipment, and working both in-shop and at customer job sites. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate computerized polyurethane foam-filling equipment to create puncture-proof industrial tire assemblies.
- Monitor fill weights, pressures, and chemical ratios to ensure quality and consistency.
- Start up, shut down, clean, and maintain foam-filling equipment, pumps, and hoses.
- Mount, dismount, and service industrial tires using hydraulic tire presses.
- Drill pressure-relief holes and oversee the foam curing process.
- Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and identify mechanical issues.
- Read and follow job specifications, tire requirements, and load ratings.
- Complete service work both in the shop and at customer locations using mobile service trucks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, tire service, mechanical, or industrial experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use digital tools and equipment.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and maneuver heavy tires weighing 50-100+ lbs.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting of 50-100+ pounds.
- Standing, bending, twisting, and repetitive movement throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Safety Requirements
- Must follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE, including:
- Face shields
- Protective aprons
- Arm sleeves
- Heavy-duty chemical-resistant gloves
- Other required safety equipment
