CDL Delivery Driver – Full-Time | Helena, MT
A well-established local business is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious CDL Delivery Driver to join its team. This position involves local deliveries of building materials and supplies, with a focus on customer service, accuracy, and safe driving practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a commercial vehicle to deliver materials to residential and commercial job sites.
- Load and unload products using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Use forklift, forklift loading truck, boom lift and load
- Verify delivery contents and obtain customer signatures.
- Maintain communication with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with general yard or warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Previous experience in delivery, construction, or building materials is a plus.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-time position with guaranteed hours.
- Flexible schedule with local routes—home every night.
