Job Title: Property Maintenance Technician – Campground & RV Park
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Property Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep and repair of campground and RV park facilities. This role ensures that all grounds, buildings, and amenities are safe, clean, and fully operational to provide guests with a comfortable and enjoyable outdoor experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of park infrastructure including restrooms, cabins, RV hookups, picnic areas, and recreational facilities.
- Conduct minor repairs in plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and landscaping.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of common areas, including trash removal and seasonal upkeep.
- Monitor and maintain water, sewer, and electrical systems specific to RV and camping operations.
- Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles used in property maintenance.
- Respond promptly to guest-reported issues and resolve them efficiently.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of seasonal amenities and special events.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and campground policies.
- Collaborate with management to identify long-term maintenance needs and improvements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications a plus.
- Proven experience in general maintenance, preferably in hospitality or outdoor recreation settings.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and landscaping.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, operate machinery, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time or part-time; includes weekends and holidays as needed.
- On-call availability for urgent repairs or weather-related issues.
