Job Summary:
The Sales Representative is responsible for generating revenue by developing strong customer relationships, offering tailored product solutions, and delivering outstanding service. This role involves working closely with internal teams and external clients to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable electrical products and services.
- Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and product demonstrations.
- Collaborate with inside sales, counter sales, and project teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
- Stay informed on industry trends, product updates, and competitor offerings.
- Resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in electrical distribution or a related field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
