Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of roofing systems. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and replace roofing systems including shingles, metal, tile, and flat roofs.
- Inspect problem roofs to determine the best repair procedures.
- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit around vents, chimneys, and other structures.
- Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installations.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety guidelines and building codes.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience as a roofer or similar role.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Familiarity with roofing materials and techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working on sloped surfaces.
- Capable of standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
