Delivery Driver – Furniture Setup & Assembly (Non-CDL)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering furniture to residential and commercial locations, with hands-on setup and assembly upon arrival. Ideal candidates will have experience in delivery driving, basic assembly skills, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a non-CDL box truck to deliver furniture and related items
- Load and unload products using hand trucks, dollies, or other equipment
- Assemble and set up furniture at delivery sites according to specifications
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Follow assigned delivery routes and meet scheduled deadlines
- Maintain a clean driving record and comply with DOT regulations
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any issues
- Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a DOT physical exam
- Experience with furniture delivery or similar hands-on delivery roles preferred
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
Compensation:
- Starting pay: $18/hour
- Pay increase after 30 days based on performance
- Full-time schedule with potential for overtime
