Job Title: Boat Detailer & Shrink Wrap Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Boat Detailer & Shrink Wrap Technician. This role involves cleaning, restoring, and protecting boats to maintain their appearance and value, as well as professionally applying shrink wrap for seasonal storage and transport.
Key Responsibilities:
Boat Detailing
- Wash and wax boat exteriors, including hulls, decks, and topsides
- Clean and condition interiors, including upholstery, carpets, and compartments
- Remove oxidation and apply protective coatings
- Perform minor cosmetic repairs and touch-ups
- Use buffers, polishers, and other detailing equipment safely and effectively
Shrink Wrapping
- Prepare boats for shrink wrapping by removing or securing accessories
- Measure and cut shrink wrap material to fit various boat sizes
- Use heat tools to shrink and seal wrap securely
- Install vents and support structures to prevent damage during storage
- Ensure all wraps are weather-tight and professionally finished
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in boat detailing or shrink wrapping preferred (training available)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Work Schedule & Compensation:
- Seasonal or year-round positions available
- Flexible hours with potential for overtime during peak seasons
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience, $22+/hr
