Job Title: Groomer Trainee / Mobile Pet Care Assistant
Starting Pay: $17/hour
Job Summary:
Join our mobile grooming team and start your career in pet care! As a Groomer Trainee, you’ll receive hands-on training in bathing, shampooing, and nail trimming while assisting with mobile grooming operations. This role also includes customer service, appointment scheduling, and basic support tasks to ensure a smooth and positive experience for pets and their owners.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and assist with pet bathing, shampooing, and nail trimming
- Safely handle pets of various sizes and temperaments
- Support groomers during mobile appointments
- Communicate professionally with clients in person and over the phone
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of grooming equipment and mobile unit
- Assist with scheduling, confirmations, and customer inquiries
Qualifications:
- Passion for animals and interest in learning grooming skills
- Strong customer service and communication abilities
- Comfortable working in a mobile environment and traveling locally
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
