The Wood Shop Laborer supports daily operations in a woodworking facility by handling raw materials, assisting with production tasks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working with wood products and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload raw wood materials and finished products.
• Operate basic woodworking equipment such as planers, saws, and sanders under supervision.
• Measure, cut, and prepare wood components according to specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop floor and workstations.
• Inspect materials for defects and report issues to supervisors.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required protective gear.
• Assist with inventory management and material handling.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in woodworking or general labor is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Schedule & Work Environment:

• Full-time position; typical hours Monday–Friday.
• Indoor shop environment with exposure to wood dust and machinery noise.
