Diesel Truck Maintenance Mechanic

Pay: $35.00–$40.00 per hour (DOE)
Job Type: Full-time

A full-time Diesel Truck Maintenance Mechanic is needed to service and maintain a mixed fleet of vehicles, including concrete trucks, dump trucks, tractors, trailers, and some heavy equipment. Both experienced mechanics and recent graduates of diesel vocational/technical programs are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on diesel trucks and heavy equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Conduct safety and DOT-compliant inspections
• Maintain accurate service logs and documentation
• Perform all typical physical tasks required of a diesel mechanic

Qualifications

• Experience as a diesel mechanic or recent completion of a diesel technology training program
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Knowledge of truck, trailer, and heavy-equipment systems preferred
