Handyman – Helena, MT
Pay: $18–$25 per hour, depending on experience and skill level
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (with occasional flexibility as needed)
Position Overview
Seeking a reliable, skilled Handyman to perform general repair, maintenance, and small-scale improvement projects in residential and light commercial settings. The ideal candidate is versatile, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently or as part of a small team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs such as drywall patching, painting, caulking, and minor carpentry
- Complete basic plumbing tasks (e.g., fixing leaks, replacing fixtures)
- Handle minor electrical work (e.g., replacing switches/outlets, installing light fixtures)
- Conduct routine property maintenance and small remodeling tasks
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and provide practical solutions
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Communicate professionally with customers and provide quality workmanship
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous experience in general handyman, maintenance, or construction work
- Proficiency with common tools and basic repair techniques
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and working in varied environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
