Sales Manager (High-Ticket B2B & Retail)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00–5:00
Compensation: $75,000–$150,000+ (base + commission, DOE)
Location: In-person role (relocation considered)
Role Overview
This position blends inbound sales with proactive B2B business development. You’ll manage walk-in, phone, and online leads while building long-term relationships with contractors, fleets, and local businesses. Success comes from strong closing skills, disciplined follow-up, and a drive to create opportunities—not wait for them.
Key Responsibilities
- Close daily sales from walk-in, phone, and internet leads
- Maintain a clean, active pipeline with consistent follow-up
- Develop and grow B2B accounts (contractors, fleets, ag/ranch, municipalities, trades)
- Prospect outbound and expand territory through partnerships and local visibility
- Quickly learn products and confidently position value over competitors
- Understand basic parts and common repairs to guide customers
- Collaborate on inventory planning, turns, and margin protection
What Success Looks Like
- Strong close rates with protected gross profit
- Healthy inventory movement and minimal aging stock
- Repeat B2B business and growing accounts
- Organized, self-driven follow-up and pipeline management
Requirements
- Proven high-ticket sales experience (equipment, automotive, ag, construction, RV, powersports, etc.)
- Comfortable with B2B and fleet-style selling
- Strong communication skills and ability to learn quickly
- Coachable, competitive, and self-managed
- Commitment to an in-person, weekday schedule
