Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and organized Office Assistant to support daily operations by dispatching tow trucks, scheduling services, and providing excellent customer service. This role is a key point of contact for customers and drivers and requires strong communication, multitasking, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch tow trucks efficiently and accurately based on service needs and availability
- Answer incoming phone calls, gather customer information, and respond professionally
- Schedule tows and related services, maintaining an organized daily schedule
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in company systems
- Provide friendly, calm, and helpful customer service—often in high-stress situations
- Coordinate communication between drivers, customers, and management
- Assist with general office tasks as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort using computers, scheduling software, and phones
- Attention to detail and accuracy with data entry
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Dispatch or call-center experience is a plus but not required
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to work seated at a desk and use a computer and phone for extended periods
- Required to work in-office during scheduled business hours
- Occasional lifting of light office materials (files, paperwork)
