Warehouse & Delivery Associate (Temporary)
Pay: Starting at $18.00/hour
Schedule: 30–40 hours per week
Duration: Temporary assignment from May 20 through June
Overview
We are seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to support warehouse operations and furniture delivery during a peak seasonal period. This role combines hands-on warehouse duties with in-home delivery support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, teamwork, and providing great customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stage furniture and merchandise in the warehouse
- Prepare items for delivery, including inspection and packaging
- Assist with local deliveries to customer homes and businesses
- Safely carry and position furniture inside customer locations
- Assemble furniture as needed at delivery sites
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
- Follow safety procedures and proper lifting techniques
- Provide professional and courteous customer interactions during deliveries
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (50–100 lbs frequently, team lifts for heavier pieces)
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license preferred (not required for all positions)
- Previous warehouse, moving, or delivery experience is a plus, but not required

- Combination of warehouse setting and local delivery routes
- Frequent standing, lifting, bending, and moving throughout shift
