DUMP TRUCK DRIVER
A growing environmental and construction services team is seeking experienced Dump Truck Drivers for projects based in East Helena, MT. This role supports earthwork, hauling, and site operations across regional projects.
Full-time, part-time, and temporary positions available.
Duties:
- Safely operate dump trucks and other commercial vehicles to transport materials.
- Load, haul, and unload materials such as dirt, gravel, and debris.
- Follow assigned routes and project schedules to meet deadlines.
- Comply with all traffic laws, job site rules, and safety requirements.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
- Report maintenance or mechanical issues promptly.
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors and crew members.
- Follow all job site safety procedures and protocols.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of dump truck or truck & trailer experience preferred.
- Good driving record.
- Ability to perform basic mechanical inspections and minor maintenance.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Willingness to travel as needed (primarily regional, weekdays with occasional weekends).
- Must pass background check.
- Must be able to pass random drug and alcohol screenings.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of job-related information.
Compensation & Schedule:
- $30–$33/hour (DOE)
- Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate
- Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 40+ hours/week
- Hours may vary based on project demands, weather, and season
