Approximately two full weeks of work, primarily working 4 consecutive 10-hour shifts per week, plus the initial two-day assignment.
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Temporary Cabinet Installer Assistant to support our lead cabinet installer during a short-term coverage assignment. This role involves material handling, assisting with cabinet installation projects, job-site organization, and general cleanup duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be comfortable performing physical labor, and possess some construction or carpentry experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the lead cabinet installer with residential and commercial cabinet installations.
- Load, unload, move, and stage cabinet boxes and related materials.
- Carry and position cabinets and installation materials on job sites.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform general job-site cleanup and debris removal.
- Assist with measuring, handling tools, and other installation support tasks as directed.
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous construction, carpentry, remodeling, or similar hands-on experience preferred.
- Ability to safely lift and carry cabinets and construction materials.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs. or more with assistance when required.
- Ability to work on active construction and job sites.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
