Equipment Operator
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an Equipment Operator to join a local company in Omaha, NE.
Position Details:
• Type: Evaluation Hire
• Schedule: 7am-3:30pm
• Location: Omaha, NE
• Pay/Salary: $25-$33/hour
Job Duties:
• Operate electrical and heavy equipment such as generators, trenchers, forklifts, lifts, or cable pulling devices
• Assist electricians and technicians with setup, installation, and operation of electrical systems
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safe operation
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major problems to supervisors
• Follow project specifications and site safety procedures at all times
• Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites as needed
• Support electrical crews with jobsite tasks as assigned
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Must have experience running conduit
• Proven experience operating electrical or heavy construction equipment
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and safety standards
• Ability to read and follow work orders, plans, or schematics
• Must have a valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
• Forklift or other equipment certifications preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions
