Railcar Unloader

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Railcar Unloader to join a local company in Council Bluffs/Omaha area.
Position Details:
• Type: Evaluation Hire
• Schedule: Full time, Flexible schedule
• Location: Council Bluffs/Omaha
• Pay/Salary: $26/hour
Job Duties:
• Unload bulk materials (e.g., grain, plastic pellets, cement, etc.) from railcars using tools, hoses, or machinery
• Inspect railcars before unloading to ensure they are secure and safe
• Operate forklifts, conveyor systems, or pneumatic/vacuum systems as needed
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance or safety issues
• Maintain accurate records of materials unloaded
• Clean and secure railcar unloading areas
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a warehouse, industrial, or rail environment preferred
• Experience working with telehandlers and other forklifts
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor/industrial environments in all weather conditions
• Comfortable working around heavy equipment and railcars
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check
• Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to be certified)
