Quality Assurance Lead
Express Employment on 61st and Center is currently recruiting for Quality Assurance Lead to join a food manufacturer in Omaha, NE! Being bilingual in English/Spanish would be super beneficial for this position!
Position Details:
• Type: Evaluation Hire
• Schedule: 7am – 4pm
• Location: Omaha, NE
• Pay/Salary: $22/hour
Job Duties:
• Lead implementation and maintenance of food safety and quality programs (HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, CCPs).
• Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, FSMA, and local regulatory requirements.
• Conduct routine plant inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality and food safety standards.
• Review and approve production records, sanitation logs, and quality documentation.
• Lead investigations and root cause analysis for non-conformances, deviations, customer complaints, and recalls.
• Train production and sanitation staff on food safety, quality standards, and best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of previous lead experience required.
• 2-3 years of quality assurance experience required (Food Manufacturing preferred).
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to cold, heat, noise, and food allergens.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs as required.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed.
