About the Role:
We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and hands-on Asbestos Abatement Foreman to lead field crews on regulated environmental projects. This position combines fieldwork with supervisory responsibilities, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations throughout each phase of asbestos removal—from initial containment to final air clearance.
This is a physically active, on-site leadership role ideal for candidates who excel in fast-paced environments and are committed to jobsite safety and excellence.
What You'll Do:

Supervise asbestos abatement crews during demolition, remediation, and containment operations

Ensure full regulatory compliance and maintain safety standards at all times

Conduct daily worksite inspections and coordinate with industrial hygienists

Assign crew tasks, manage daily workflow, and inspect completed work for quality assurance

Fill out and maintain accurate project documentation (e.g., waste manifests, timecards, air sampling data sheets, daily reports)

Communicate effectively with project managers and clients to report progress and issues

Work in physically confined and variable environments as a field-based supervisor
What You Bring:
-
Minimum 1 year of direct asbestos abatement experience
-
2+ years of team leadership or foreman experience in the construction or remediation field
-
Valid Asbestos Supervisor Certification (Required)

Current Driver’s License (Required)
-
Familiarity with construction site safety; OSHA 10/30 or HAZWOPER 40 preferred

Additional experience in lead abatement, restoration, or industrial cleaning is a plus

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to read and interpret safety and work documents

Willingness to travel locally as projects require

Must pass background check and drug screening

Ability to lift up to 60 lbs

Prolonged standing and walking

Frequent crawling and use of hand tools

Must be able to wear a respirator and work in protective gear for extended periods
