Web Press Operator
Salary in the Mid Twenties
Our client company in Portland ME is looking for an experienced Web Press operator.
Experience running Didde and Harris machines a plus.
Essential Functions:
- Interprets Instructions for Layout of various process color work
- Set-up Press
- Fill ink wells and tanks
- Monitor and tend to the press while job is running
- Record specifics regarding jobs.
- Clearly marks finished product and prepares for movement to next department.
- Cleans machine to prepare for next job
Knowledge and skills:
- Ability to work with conventional water systems
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and ink/water problems
- Able to work in a fast paced digital production environment
