Duties:
- Lead and supervise a team of 4-8 shipping employees.
- Coordinate daily shipping schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Prioritize shipments based on production schedules and customer deadlines.
- Work with carriers and freight providers to resolve shipping issues and optimize delivery performance.
- Monitor shipping accuracy, quality, and department productivity.
- Identify opportunities to improve shipping processes and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with production, customer service, and sales to support customer needs.
- Maintain shipping records, inventory of shipping supplies, and compliance with safety standards.
What We Look For:
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, freight coordination, and carrier management.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience improving processes and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and shipping or ERP software is preferred.
- Ability to lead a team while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer service.
