Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Manufacturing Machine Technician for a manufacturing facility located in Newark, NJ. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a growing production operation seeking someone with strong mechanical skills and experience working with automated production equipment.
The Manufacturing Machine Technician will support glass decoration processes including silk screen printing and automated machine setup and operation. This role requires someone comfortable troubleshooting equipment, using mechanical tools, and supporting production machines in a manufacturing environment.
This role may also be referred to as a Production Machine Technician or Manufacturing Technician, depending on the production environment.

What You Will Be Doing
- Set up and prepare automatic silk screen printing machines for production runs
- Use mechanical tools to support machine setup, adjustments, and production changes
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine or process issues during production
- Follow standard operating procedures and assist with daily production assignments
Must-Have Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with tools
- Experience using measurement instruments and mechanical components
- Knowledge of production equipment including conveyors, belts, chains, cams, shafts, and bearings
- Experience with setting up or adjusting semi-automated or automated production machines
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience with silk screen printing or glass decoration processes
- Knowledge of pneumatics
- Familiarity with automation components such as sensors, signals, switches, or relays
- Experience working in Lean Manufacturing environments
- Bilingual English / Spanish
