Job Full Description

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Food Production Associate to join our team. In this role, you will assist with the daily production of baked goods, ensuring that our bakery items meet high-quality standards while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Support: Assist in the preparation, mixing, and baking of a variety of products, including bread, cakes, pastries, and cookies.
  • Recipe Adherence: Follow standardized recipes to ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of baked goods.
  • Ingredient Preparation: Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients for various baked goods as per instructions.
  • Baking Operations: Operate ovens, mixers, and other bakery equipment to bake products.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet company standards for taste, texture, and appearance.
  • Packaging: Package products for sale, ensuring items are properly labeled and stored.
  • Cleanliness & Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workstations, utensils, and equipment. Follow all health and safety guidelines.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages or needs to management.
  • Customer Service: Occasionally assist with customer orders, provide product recommendations, and ensure a positive customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment is a plus but not required.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures. Ability to follow recipes and instructions with attention to detail.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy bags of ingredients (up to 25 lbs), and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in food production, especially in a bakery setting.
  • A passion for baking and attention to detail.
