Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team in a cold storage environment. This role involves handling, organizing, and shipping frozen food products while maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse. The ideal candidate thrives in cold temperatures and is comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, store, and organize frozen food products in temperature-controlled environments (-10°F to 32°F).
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks.
- Load and unload shipments while following proper handling procedures.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure inventory meets safety and freshness standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate cold-weather gear (provided).
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred (cold storage experience is a plus).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cold temperatures for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of inventory systems and warehouse operations is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Forklift certification is a plus (training may be provided).
