Box Truck Driver
Location: Hillside, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift
Territory: New Jersey, New York & surrounding areas
Position Overview
A well-established tire distribution company in Hillside, NJ is seeking a Box Truck Driver to transport large commercial and passenger tires to customers throughout New Jersey, New York, and neighboring areas. This is a hands-on driving role that requires loading and unloading tires at delivery locations.
The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable with physical work in addition to driving.
Key Responsibilities

Operate a box truck safely and professionally

Deliver large tires to customers across NJ, NY, and surrounding regions

Load and unload tires at the warehouse and customer locations

Secure cargo properly to ensure safe transport

Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules

Maintain delivery logs and basic paperwork

Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any issues

Provide professional customer service at delivery sites

Comply with all DOT, company, and safety regulations
Qualifications & Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Previous box truck or delivery driving experience preferred

Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy tires

Comfortable with frequent loading and unloading

Knowledge of local and regional roads in NJ and NY

Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
