Job Full Description
Building supplies company is looking for a Shipping/Receiving manager!
- Will review purchase orders & make sure they match with the items that were ordered
- Ensure inventory database is accurate and make note of any discrepancies
- Inventory management; ensure received items are entered into system accurately
- Inform management of products low in stock and ensure they are ordered.
- Will unload containers using the forklift and put items into stock
- Coordinate with trucking companies on deliveries, which location they will go to, etc.
- Ability to manage entire receiving process; occasionally manage other employees
Experience Required
- 3-5 years of supervisory/management experience
- Must have good standing/valid license
- Experience with inventory and cycle counting
