🔥 Our Client Is Looking for a Welder – 2nd Shift
📍 Freehold, NJ | 🕓 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM | 💵 $25–$30/hr | 🧤 Full-Time, Onsite
The Opportunity
Love welding sparks, steel, and building things that actually do something? Our client is on the hunt for a skilled Welder to join their 2nd shift team. You’ll help bring industrial-grade products to life—used to move massive machines and power some of the world’s toughest industries.

Pay Rate: $25–$30 per hour, depending on your experience and certifications.
What You’ll Be Doing
🧰 Reporting to the 2nd Shift Supervisor and getting job assignments based on your skillset
📋 Reviewing work orders and blueprints on the shop computer
🛠️ Prepping and welding parts using MIG guns, stick welders, acetylene torches, and more
🔍 Inspecting welds to make sure they meet quality standards—no weak links here
🔥 Watching heat levels, avoiding warping, and adjusting your approach as needed
🎯 Tack welding, grinding, sanding, and assembling parts to precise specs
🧼 Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace
🚨 Reporting material defects or equipment issues when spotted
🎓 Earning and maintaining welding certifications as needed
➕ Taking on other hands-on duties as needed to support the team
What Our Client Is Looking For
✅ 2–4 years of hands-on welding experience (or equivalent training)
✅ Skilled with MIG, stick, and torch welding, plus grinders and sanders
✅ Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
✅ Basic math knowledge for layout and fitting work
✅ Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
✅ Willing to take a weld test as part of the hiring process
Physical Demands & Work Environment
💪 Ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs
🦶 Mostly standing, some kneeling, bending, and walking
👀 Strong visual focus for detail and machine operation
🔥 Regular exposure to heat, sparks, grinding dust, and welding fumes
🧏 Ear protection required due to loud industrial noise
🦺 All PPE provided—just bring your own steel-toe boots

Welding screens, MIG/stick welders, acetylene torches, grinders, respirators, forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, etc.
