Job Full Description
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Multi-Trade Carpenter with proven experience in electrical and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will be capable of performing a wide range of construction, maintenance, and repair tasks across residential properties. You will be responsible for executing carpentry work as your core trade while supporting electrical and plumbing tasks to ensure efficient, all-in-one service delivery. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right person who is a reliable, hard worker and wants growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform a variety of carpentry tasks including framing, drywall installation, cabinetry, door/window fitting, and finish work.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical fixtures (e.g., outlets, light fittings, switches) in compliance with safety codes.
• Conduct basic plumbing work such as installing sinks, toilets, fixing leaks, and maintaining water lines or drainage systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Collaborate with other trades and subcontractors on construction or renovation projects.
• Diagnose problems and propose cost-effective repair or upgrade solutions.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe and organized work environment.
• Ensure work is completed on time and meets quality standards and local building codes.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a carpenter, with solid knowledge of residential building construction.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing installations/repairs.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Familiarity with tools of all three trades.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and local codes.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
• Vocational training or certification in carpentry, electrical, or plumbing.
• Relevant trade licenses (if applicable or required by local law).
• OSHA or site safety certifications.
• Experience in renovation, maintenance, or facilities management.
Work Environment:
• Indoor and outdoor job sites
• May involve working in tight spaces, at heights, or in varying weather conditions
• Lifting and physical activity required
Schedule: Varies depending on job sites and days. Typically, early mornings 7am start until job completion
Pay: $23-28/hr. depending on experience
