We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Operations Project Coordinator to support our client’s operations based in Edison, NJ. This hybrid role (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) demands a professional who can manage high-volume operational projects with precision, urgency, and efficiency.

2–3 years of direct, recent experience as an Operations Project Coordinator – REQUIRED

Strong knowledge and understanding of Profit & Loss (P&L) – REQUIRED

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint – REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree – Preferred

Industry experience in Office Products or Packaged Goods – Preferred

Bilingual (Spanish) – Preferred
Position Overview
The Operations Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating Bill of Material (BOM) changes for existing items, aligning with planning teams on raw material purchases, and partnering with the Inventory Manager to address and reduce excess inventory. This role plays a key part in project planning, logistics, scheduling, and resource alignment with other teams to ensure timely, accurate project execution.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct weekly meetings with other teams to ensure new item setups are completed through initial production.

Maintain accurate and organized records of all BOM updates across departments.

Monitor aging raw materials and determine direction for usage or disposal.

Schedule and lead alignment meetings with teams in NJ and remote counterparts to review BOM changes.

Track and support procurement of raw materials to meet project requirements.

Maintain and update visual materials (e.g., “Rolling/Hard Cut” pallet signage) to reflect accurate BOM versions.

Support the transition and implementation of QR codes by ensuring timely ordering of updated materials.

Assign GL codes and finalize BOM processes.

Identify and recommend substitutes for raw materials or finished products as needed.

Perform weekly and monthly reviews of excess inventory; highlight trends and report to the Inventory Manager.

Partner with Inventory Manager to identify root causes of overstock and support process improvements.

Generate actionable reports to optimize material usage and reduce waste.

Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
